Coming up with a comprehensive list of customer needs is fundamental to Voice of the Customer (VOC) market research for innovation. This usually involves a lengthy process requiring dozens of full-length interviews – but what if you’re in a time crunch? AMS Associate Principal and President of the PDMA’s Pittsburgh Chapter Andrea Ruttenberg, PhD will be presenting a mini workshop to help product developers glean comprehensive insights in spite of limited timeframes at the 2023 Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) Inspire Innovation Conference.
If you’re attending PDMA 2023, taking place from September 16th to the 19th in New Orleans, make sure to join Andrea for “Customer Insights in a Pinch: ChatGPT, Social Monitoring and Good Old Brainstorming.” In this workshop, Andrea will demonstrate methods for getting ‘close enough’ to a comprehensive list of customer needs in a time pinch and how to use these needs to develop products. You’ll learn techniques for brainstorming and finding key customer discussion platforms and use nascent tools like ChatGPT to supplement your findings.
Andrea’s workshop will take place on the Customer Insights | Process Innovation Track from 10:15AM – 12:00PM CT on September 18th. While you’re attending the conference, make sure to visit our booth – AMS will be exhibiting in the Innovation Pavilion. We hope to see you there!
